This collection was inspired by a trip we took to El Paso in 2019, when I met my father-in-law for the very first time. After a long road trip with my husband, the reunion was deeply emotional. He and his family proudly showed us around the town that shaped them.

The desert left a lasting imprint on me—the colors, the wind, the heat, the movement of the city. Everything felt powerful, raw, and full of new emotions. That landscape became a language of its own, translating feeling into form, texture, and flow.

My father-in-law passed away a year before my son was born. I often wish he were still here, able to be the wonderful grandfather I know he would have been. This collection carries that memory—of love, connection, place, and moments that stay with us forever.
